Never again
Absinthe makes for a BAD MORNING.
God I was so sick all morning and I had to open... I could barely work, and I sat for most of the shift until my coworker Jennifer could come in at 1:30. It was hoooooorrible. I had to stay because the two other workers I opened with don't know how to do register. We were hella understaffed today as is, too, so I felt so guilty and anxious the whole time on top of it :|||
Ugh I hope they're ok tonight.. probably not.. so many new people working and only 2 solid employees.
Was the absinthe worth it? No.. I didn't perceive colors brighter or whatever, which is supposed to happen.. most people incorrectly believe that absinthe is hallucinogenic.
And wow did it taste like ass.. god I'll stick to my Bacardi.
That aside, last night was pretty fun; it was my coworker Matt's 22nd bday party. Lots of cool people there but I feel like the night flew by.. was there from around 9 to 3:30 AM.
Anyway, don't drink absinthe. >_< I also don't think I drank water before bed (stupid) so that might have been my demise.
