i'm only slightly...annoyed
UK sent my financials yesterday asking me to accept and reject offers. Apparently, my scholarship was reduced, meaning they (the office of student aid)think I'm getting too much money to fit my standard of living. Then they substituted $3000 of my scholarship monies for a loan. This is crap. I'm calling them today to figure out why they are asking me to pay money when I was offered money for everything. For now, I won't be able to use my KEES money to buy a new laptop...grrrr. School is so evil.
My second newest problem is I have to get money for a study abroad trip next summer. I'm planning on writing a scholarship proposal to the William C. Parker office, considering they were hunting for people to apply for the scholarship, so there has to be some money floating around the office for the summer. The trip would cost a little under $5000 but it is worth it if I get to spend time out of the country learning about another culture.
edit: My financial aid issue has been amended, now to figure out if the travel expenses can be paid for by a university scholarship...
