Muse - Supermassive Black Hole
So I read somewhere that Muse's new single wouldn't come out until June 13th. I don't have that kind of time! I need it now!
Well, it's here! And when they said that their fans would be freaked out by their new sound, they were not just throwing words around. A glitchy classic rock meets Prince backing supports a surprising falsetto melody. Lyrically, there's still all the cosmic nonsense. But what's this, is he actually singing, "I thought I was a fool for no one, but, mmm, baby, I'm a fool for you?" There are even "De-de-de-de" harmonies during the chorus. This is cheeky pop! There's no other way to put it.
