[The window is open, and Karasu is sitting on the sill. He fiddles with the communicator until he's satisfied with the feed quality, setting it on the edge of a table. Stretching, he offers the camera a lazy sort of smile.]
In...less than a month it will be two years. Two years to the very...day.
[This doesn't seem to bother him, however, and he lifts a glass, taking a long draw of something deep red in color, just a tad thicker than wine, it seems]
Then again, it doesn't really matter. I can pass day after day, month into year into decade into century here....and it won't really matter. What's time in a place where it exists on it's own plane? And what about what happens to those of you...still alive without...?
[A smile, setting the glass aside, carefully. A Crow comes to land on his shoulder, and gently he produces a scrap for it, other hand carefully stroking the glossy black feathers.]
Tell me...does it count if time doesn't matter within this little...world? For any of us, not just me...of course. I'm not that selfish.
Death, life...love.
[And oh, those eyes glitter.]
I suppose it's just about time for bed...
[He pauses suddenly, mid rising, grin stretching his lips as he leans forward]
Ah...by the way. It was nice to see you again, Mother.
