To all of you about to go to college

From some one who has been here for one week of classes and two weeks of social life
On classes: Dont freak out. I did before they started, but its really ok. Yes, there is more work, but there is more time to do that work. No you dont have to work durring all of your free time, I still have time to either go to the frats or meetings or practice pretty much every weeknight. Some of your classes will be intersting, some will be boring, some will be hard and some will be easy. Ive found i have one boring easy class, and so far the rest of my classes arnt too hard but are more intersting that classes in high school. But it's still school.
On social life: I know that my negavtive experience worried some of you. I am much happier now, it's just hard for me to adjust. Coming from high school, where i knew the faces that walked by, and had very close friends that i could talk to anytime about anything, and going to a place where i dont know anyone and feel like i dont have any friends and that i dont fit in. However, i just keep going out, keep getting involved and keep going to class and im meeting more and more people. All of the older people im friends with said it took them just over a month to get comfortable. I was just freaking out.

thats my perspective, anyone else whos been a freshman or has any insight is more than welcome to agree with me...or tell me im an idiot, whatever you feel like
