Bad Narnia Fic is the worst!

It's so dumb to go off of just Wardrobe. I mean... at least go to IMDB and/or Disney and hello? They tell you they're doing the sequel. Grrr.

Neil Gaiman wrote a short story called "The Problem of Susan." Which completely disturbed me and gave Narnia a very frightening twist.

Anyay, the fic I was ranting about- had a pretty good idea for crossing Narnia and Harry Potter. Then they veered straight into Sueville. With Christian diatribes. Albus is an amoral, thoughtless, disbelieving heathen. Susan is a self-centered bitch (and really I should put that phrase in all caps. It's really, really bad) who is omgsoWANGSTY because, poor baby, she's eternally young and beautiful. Aww. Really, her canon counterpart would have been dancing in the streets.

Peter still commands Edmund and Lucy like they're all kids even though they're all 80-something?? And not one of them has ever gotten laid/fallen in love, except Susan and that was with Tom Riddle, and Peter put his foot down because he just knew Tom was evil (and it's assured that he was totally right, so even that possibly interesting plot must bow because Peter is Infallible)... Harry, Ron and Hermione do NOTHING. Every sideplot is gone in order to focus more on Voldemort's new fixation: Peter (or Susan, since he was in luuuv with her). Harry doesn't save Sirius, or Buckbeak, Hermione never catches Rita Skeeter, there is no Goblet of Fire. No reason given. It's just not done. Le what?

And now? The writer has decided to add in The Dark is Rising. LEAVE SUSAN COOPER ALONE!! *weeps for Will and Bran and Jane* So now the thing isn't JUST bad Narnia fic. It's bad Harry Potter and Dark is Rising fic. Sigh. Sorry I ranted. It's just... the badness is multiplying! And it had potential too. Alas.
