I saw this article on Facebook today, and it made me think of my precious Bear Bear. With Travis and Charlie in the picture, he's been retired from sleeping in the bed, but he still sits proudly on my bedside table. What toy do you still have after all these years?

I still "have" most of my childhood toys. "Have," meaning "there's a box or twelve at my parents' house..."

But the one I still have and that made the move with me is Snowball. Treasured stuffed dog from 1st grade. My mommy bought him for me when the unfairness of life (and stupidity of adults) reared its ugly head and my white elephant gift from the Girl Scouts Christmas party was decorative soap.




PS. Congrats to Megan! I can't believe she's had the baby already! (Holy cow, time has been flying!)
