OH MY GOD YES MY SAT TWOS ARE DONE HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH. In celebration, have more SGA gen fic about grief and life on Atlantis! I appear to really like writing about those. (See The Subterraneans.) Hopefully this will make sense outside of my head, but who knows? I'm on decongestant, oral antibiotics, caffeine pills, and Margaret Atwood poetry, ( Read more... )

Thank you! Except, it's not all my SATs - idiot that I am, I'm retaking my SAT Ones for the math. (580 = not that great.)

I haven't read The Journals of Susanna Moodie but I want to!

I'm sure it'll go fine. *encourages*

Oh, you really should. They're so fabulous. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Collected Works, so I've pretty much spent the last few weeks rolling around in Atwood poetry, sinfully gleeful and constantly sated.

Amazon has a used copy for 99 cents, if it's availability or price. If it's time: well. I can ask Santa for Hiro Nakamura powers, so we can both just stop the clock and read all of what we want to - and, of course, get everything else done at the same time - but somehow, I don't think he'll deliver.

Awww, that sounds WONDERFUL. I don't think I've even seen the Collected Works anywhere. Lucky you, indeed. There's a copy of The Journals at my university library, but I'm not going to have the time to go for... I don't know how long.

Hee! Yeah, I wish.

Well, damn. And I as sleep-deprived as I am, I cannot think of anything more expressive to say about this whole state of affairs except: #$)(#&$!@&$*!!!!!

I wish you a nice cup of tea and... something really soothing and invigorating! (If I knew what would do the trick, I'd be more specific.)

Tea works. I like tea. Though a big hot steaming cup of No More History Term Paper would work as well. And I of course wish you a soothing... whatever, for whichever particular stresses you are suffering right now, as I am sure there are many. (It appears to be the season.)
