Filia knew that she couldn't stay locked away inside of her room for long. She'd sat at the door, staring at the opening just below it, hoping she'd hear that idiot Mazoku leave just long enough for her to make it out for food.
Her golden hair slipped over her shoulder as she moved, reaching out to take hold of the door handle and turn it ever so slightly. Just the slightest squeak from the hinges caused her to lose her nerve and close it once more.
She didn't want to see his stupid face.
That stupid grin.
That stupid hair.
A few moments passed and she forced herself to try again, opening the door just an inch and peaking out and around the empty room. Once she was positive the coast was clear, she lifted herself to her feet and slid out, taking a look around before slinking into the kitchen to search for some sort of food.
