YAY!!! Omg WHEEEEEE I am so excited !!! (can you tell?)
Yesterday I was at WalMart and I saw this one lady (employee) putting clothes back on the hangars (wow, I had no idea I knew how to spell hangars, but apparently I do. huh, what do you know), and I saw these GORGEOUS nylon-y/silk-y/satin-y red dresses that reminded me of the ballet outfit I had when I was FIVE!! It was a red leotard and a red ruffly flowy skirt that went down to my knees, and my favorite thing to do was dress up in it and jump on the trampoline in my mom's arts and crafts/computer room in front of the full-length mirror and look at how AMAZING I looked.
Some weekends we'd head out to Allentown or thereabouts (this was back when I lived in Philly, near Trenton) and go to Kids Kutz (the hair salon for kids) and I'd get my hair trimmed and French braided and my bangs curled w. the curling iron (I had bangs then, but I haven't had them now since the 6th grade; so about 10 years). Then we'd go to the barbecue place and eat the YUMMIEST barbecue on the planet, and in their bathroom I'd stare at myself in the full-length mirror and twirl around in my skirt and leotard (yeah, my parents let me wear it out of the house bc. I loved it so much :-) ...man I loved my parents so much back then). I'd pretend that I was a princess ballerina (and I'd act like one, too, of course ;-).
And then I got too fat to wear it when I was about seven.
But OMG!!! I FOUND A RED DRESS AT WALMART THAT IS THE *EXACT* SAME COLOR AND MATERIAL!!! AND I LOVE IT!!! It was 20 bucks, which was a little pricey, but omg, you can see why I HAD to have it!! The only problem I noticed with it when I tried it on was that the neck line dipped VERY low, about 3 inches below the top line of my bra, which was I problem. I looked for something I could wear underneath, and you will NEVER guess what I found, OR where I found it.
It's a form-fitting tank top, the EXACT same color (and I mean E-X-A-C-T) that I found in the CHILDREN's section. The *children's* section. And it fits PERFECTLY. The tag said for kids up to 84 lbs, and I weigh over TWICE that, but it FITS PERFECTLY!!!
OMG SQUEEE!!!
EDIT: Oh, and it's a size 4/6, too... *evil grin* =)
