So I consulted my Tarot deck regarding my soul mate, and received near-exactly the answers I expected.
Q1 (Past): Where is my soul mate?
A1 (Past): Four of Swords. Waiting; in hiding. Operative word: waiting.
Q2 (Present): Who is my soul mate?
A2 (Present): Morgan le Fay. I am going down a hopeless path, making decisions about how to find my soul mate that will not return any realistic result. Operative words: hopeless, realistic.
Q3 (Future): When will I meet him or her?
A3 (Future): Lancelot & Elaine. If I continue along the path I am currently taking, then I will end up with the wrong person, stuck in a dead-end relationship. Operative phrase: dead end.
Q4 (Future): What will happen if I stop pursuing this course of action and take the recommended path instead?
A4 (Future): The Chariot. If I stop the path I am currently taking, and take a less proactive, more laissez faire approach to meeting him or her, then he or she will come out of hiding, and the resulting relationship will be genuine and fulfilling for the rest of our two lives, not just on this planet.
