Is it possible to break a bone and it not hurt really bad? I fell roller skating on Friday and landed on my right upper arm (humerus), close to the shoulder. I think I may have a buckle fracture, but I'm not sure. It doesn't hurt normally bad enough for me to notice (much), but every now and then it will hurt like a motherfucker and I can barely move it--"every now and then" as in a couple of times a day, usually when I'm getting dressed or moving my arm in some odd fashion. Also, at the time that I fell, the pain was excruciating, and I could barely move it then--I had to hold it to my chest to keep the pain minimal. There is no bruise to speak of.
Should I go to the doctor, or is it probably fine?
