(no subject)
Well, I didn't get to post before, but my grandfather died on Monday at 8:25 PM at my aunt's house, after being transported from a Kingsport hospital.. His wake is tonight at 8:00 PM and his burial is tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM. I'm going to the wake with my dad, and my mom is going to the burial with my dad tomorrow and leaving me to tend to Snoopy, my dachshund.
On another note, I keep forgetting to post this, but I read Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince. It's not particularly my favorite of the series. In fact, it's probably the second worst, only one notch about the truly awful Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire, which, by the way, is being released in movie format in November. >.< I hope the director doesn't screw that up, like he did with the 3rd movie. Ick... But anyway, the 6th book was alright, I guess, but not very entertaining or interesting. But OMG, in the end, I swear I almost cried! Lol, if you read the book, you should know the ending. ;) It was so freaking sad... :(
I'm currently reading The Virgin Suicides, since I saw the movie before(I love Sofia Coppola) and absolutely adored it, and it's pretty good so far. The movie differed from the book though, of course. The next book I plan to read is Breakfast At Tiffany's, which is also a movie that I haven't gotten the chance to complete watching yet. Audrey Hepburn. :) <3 So, um, yeah. :P
I've been watching some older movies lately. Yesterday, I watched To Kill a Mockingbird, which I loved to pieces. *Must remember to read the book.* And before that, I watched Little Big Man which alright but not my favorite, and also One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest which was just great. :) Must also remember to pick that book up! Nothing else new, or else I'd write about it, obviously. :P School starts in 1 week. Gaahh. >.< Seems like the summer just started....
