Last night, I went to the 7:00 showing of Batman Begins with my dad. Well, I would give it an A-. It WOULD be an "A", but I absolutely found the ending awful. I mean, the hell happened to the antidote?? Wasn't Rachel supposed to get it mass-produced with the help of Morgan Freeman's character(forgot his name)? I mean, they totally forgot about it at the end and just left part of the city to run around in panic, when they could have had the help of the antidote. >.< ALSO, I wouldn't have thought of it, but my dad mentioned something to me during the movie: if the weapon is strong enough to vaporize water in the water supply under the city, then wouldn't all of the people die? We ARE made mostly of water.... Well, that was a plothole. Ick. But overall(excluding the ending), it was an awesome movie! <33 Christian Bale was wonderful as Batman and Bruce, possibly better than Michael Keaton. The movie was pretty funny, especially when Batman sees the poor man in the alley and says, "Nice coat." LMAO, you'd have to see it to understand. :P And Christian being real easy on the eyes helps, lol. ;) But anyway, it was pretty dark, had great acting(esp. from Bale and Cillian Murphy!), Gotham was very realistic-looking, and it had a pretty decent script, up to the end. It was a hell of a lot better than Spiderman & its sequel! I absolutely hated both Spiderman movies. XP
RANDOM: I really liked how they slipped in the thing about the Joker at the end. :) <3
My granddad fell this morning(he lives with us) and BROKE HIS HIP! >.< He fell at about 8:00 this morning and got everyone up. Of course, my mom thought he was over-exaggerating when he said he thought he broke his hip. He was joking and talking, so it didn't seem like he did. But then we called my aunt(who's a nurse), and she said that it may be fractured or bruised, so we called an ambulance. They took him to the hospital and then we got a call at home from my aunt, saying that his hip is badly broken, and that he was being transported to Kingsport to have surgery and possible hip replacement. :X He is very weak and old, so they said he might not even make it through the surgery, but if he did, that he probably wouldn't be able to walk anymore. My aunt said that he was hurting so much, that the doctors had to give him 3 shots of morphine, and that STILL didn't stop the pain. Ouch! They gave him 2 more shots, and it still didn't work. But they aren't allowed to give him much more. Mom says that hip injuries take long to heal, so he probably will never come home again. He's already very weak and old, plus the bone will need to heal...
SIDE NOTE: MWUAHAHAHA, Tom Cruise's career is over! LMAO, everyone on TV(news reporters, critics, etc.) has been making fun of him and Katie Holmes, just like they did with the whole "Bennifer" deal. ROFL, and that was the end of Ben Affleck's career, haha. O.O Poor Tom. ;)
