Nightmare had an audience. Two little boys had entered the training room and were now watching him put himself through the program's paces. A broad grin plastered itself across Netto's face.

"Come on, 'niisan," he whispered to his brother. "I bet we could take him on! We can both use training sabers!"

Peripherally, Nightmare was aware of the pair's arrival. But at the moment his attention was squarely focused on the droids that pivoted and swarmed around him --

Lashing out with his sabre to neatly bisect one drone, he shouldered into another to sent it colliding into its partner before dragging his blade in an arc through them both.

"I know better than that," Netto said, fighting the urge to briefly stick out his tongue. "Come on, let's go get training sabers an' wait for Nightmare to finish this simulation."

So saying, he immediately hopped down off the bench and made his way to the locker where practice weapons were stored.

Darn it! Saito was down, and now Nightmare's attention was back on him. Netto desperately tried to keep up with the flurry of attacks, but little by little, he was forced to back up. It didn't matter that he knew Nightmare was trying to push him back. There wasn't anything else he could do.

Saito! The mental cry was somewhat annoyed, but mostly desperate. Help!

A distraction he certainly was; the yell gave Nightmare advance warning, and he came to a halt, whirling to meet Saito head-on.

He didn't seem to be focusing on Saito, exactly, but instead threw himself into a bull-rush to sweep his assailant away without needing perfect aim.

Netto paused for only a moment, trying to tune into his brother's mind and actions, then timed his next attack exactly with Saito's. A little bit of tactics was finally creeping into his head. Surely Nightmare couldn't fend them both off at exactly the same time...
