 To slay the dragon was turning out to be a much harder task than Signas had originally thought. He had been around the HQ a few times, both to check on the general state of things and to make sure it was known that he was now present. Speak of the devil -- or maybe think of him; as Signas was beginning to sort through the abundance of backdue paperwork, there was a knock on his door.

Promptly followed by said door opening, and Harpuia padding in with a slightly questioning, very resigned expression and what looked to be another report, both hardcopy and data.

He eyed the desk, flicked his gaze to Signas -- which prompted a brief burst of curiosity -- and then cocked his head to one side.

"I've a new field report. Would you rather it was simply filed, for now?"

Signas gave Harpuia a small smile before examining the report in his hand. "I'll have to look at it eventually. If you add it to the pile, I'll be sure to get to it and get it filed before I finish."

Which at this rate, would be never. The resigned look was someone curious, though.

"Something the matter?"

Harpuia nodded, and trotted over to the desk to drop off the report in question and add it to the small horde of its fellow. Then he shrugged, and sighed.

"There are certain things that I've never worked well with, and it doesn't seem about to change any time soon. Opinionated youngsters, for one ..."

Trailing off, he eyed Signas briefly.

"What about you? You look a little ... off, begging your pardon."

Signas sighed heavily. "Headache. They've been frequent occurrences since I arrived in RV, and examining paperwork is not the best way to cure them."
