new roommate.
so i'm getting a new roommate. her name is abby. she came over last night to meet me and look at the room before she decided to move into it. she seems really really nice. i told her i didn't want alcohol in the room or a roommate coming in drunk and she said it wouldn't be a problem. i told her my friends would probably be staying here if they came to visit and that's the way it is. she told me she and her boyfriend don't have sex...which means that they won't be having sex in my room or in my shower. that's a plus. she's a christian. she's a freshman. she's from forest city. she's in the college of design (either interior design or architecture). that's about all i know about her. she has to move in within 72 hours or the spot she reserved in my room is no longer hers. as nice as she is, and i really do think we'll get along and stuff, i'm kind of hoping she doesn't get moved in in time or something and then i can still be by myself. i really liked having the room to myself. maybe i'm just selfish.
today i received a package in the mail. there was no sender on it. i opend the package and all i saw was silencer. instantly in my mind i'm thinking...what on earth? who sent me a gun silencer? this is weird...then i realize that blake has packages sent to my address since ups won't deliver to his mailbox and he would have to drive and pick things up. now i know what you're thinking...why did blake get a gun silencer? it wasn't for a gun. it's something for his computer. blake's a nerd. it's cute though. haha.
i cannot wait to see crash. it's at the dollar theatre. blake and i were going to go tonight...but then he had a bunch of projects and assignments and such. hopefully this weekend will work out.
i ran into bobbie on campus today. she's adorable. hopefully she wants to be friends. that sounds way dorky, but i'm serious. i also ran into ciarra. that was fun too. she lives two floors above me. nic wetzel also said he wants to hang out and stuff. he's a fun kid.
this weekend i got an email from mission year. i need to do some thinking and praying about that, and then work on the actual details and things of figuring out if i can and should go. i've got some research to do.
