I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone on my flist for a few days! As of 6:45 tonight I will be in New York City with my sister Katy!
I am so excited, I can't believe I'm going. I can't wait for tomorrow night's Harry Potter party! I will take tons of pictures of me as Luna and also of everywhere else I go. I'll probably go to the art galleries and history museums, but also a few not well known places that Katy wants me to see.
I also have a farewell to someone dear to me to post.
As of tomorrow night, there will be no waiting. I have grown up with you and loved you since I was eleven. This goodbye is especially hard for me because I don't know whether you live or die. The same goes for everyone else in your books....I just don't know and I'm afraid to read. However, I want to thank you for the wonderful memories you've given me the chance to experience. I remember the vacation when my family couldn't go to the beach because we wanted to keep reading your adventures. I remember when I turned 16 with you and celebrated your birthday more than mine. I will always remember Harry, because you have given me something worth remembering...the magic of your world. I will always love you and I want to thank you for the wonderful experiences, the fellow fans I've had the chance to meet, and for just...being so influential in my life.
I love you, Harry Potter. No matter what.
Okay, that was very hard to write. It had to be said. I got my wand yesterday and I almost cried. Anyway, I hope all my fellow fans have a great day tomorrow and that the book doesn't make us TOO sad.
