5 day weekend
i'm wrapping up a 5 day weekend- friday thru tuesday- not the most exciting but i got some stuff done. I want to sell my old vintagey clothes on ebay, so amber came over yesterday and modeled some of the clothes for the camera. sunday was easter. it was nice cuz it was like mine and tom's first real easter. we were hung over. i hid eggs at like noon. tom and kitty looked for them (kitty just slept). then we had egg samiches for breakfast. got dressed, went to walgreens and bought eachother stuff for our baskets. we made the baskets and hid them. then found them. thats what youre supposed to do, right? we watched the hawks and the SoX, then headed to my parents house for the first dinner. Then to tom's house for the second dinner. then we came back home and pigged out on candy and chilled and watched tv. overall a good easter. the only thing missing was family bowling. maybe on mothers day!
saturday we went to tims and watched the SoX game. then i went home to color eggs with the fam. then i went to twiggz' for their band practice. i sang some. not sure if im welcome to do so or not. people are too touchy. but it was a good night. danny stopped by and brought some goooodies! and i drank enough cheap beer. it was a lot of fun. one of my favorite places to hang out is in a garage. any garage. they are welcoming places to be.
so backwards to friday. tom took me on a date! it was lots of fun! we went do edwardos near dearborn and congress downtown and got a stuffed veggie pizza. then we headed over to the hancock observation deck. lots of fun! they have a coffee shop on the 94th floor. you can see wisconsin, michigan, and indiana. and illinois of course. and they have an open air area with screens. you are so high up its pretty weird to feel the air from that height. kinda scary at first but then you get used to it.
anyways. it was a good 4 days off, now im on day 5 and havent done much yet.
