alleyways are really pretty

Aug 10, 2008 15:50

I have delayed in posting any pictures of me thus far, because I hate it when- oh wait, read the little paragraph at the header. I hate it when guys, online ones, bug you to show them a picture of yourself.

I have a theory...

1. The only reason they want to exchange MSN emails is to hopefully see your face on your display pic.
2. If it's not there, they go on PLAN B, which is to ask you for it. Most of the time, it is one of the first few sentences they say to you. This just translates to me as "I want to see your face to see if you are worth chatting to or not".
3. If you ask why, they probably have no good reason.
4. If you decline, they will continue to pester you.
5. If you show your picture, you are going to be judged.

Personally, I do not like to be judged based on my physical appearance on the first conversation. If this is what these guys think is important, then it wouldn't matter if I looked as good as miss universe, but converse like a 2 year old. Anyway, why does it matter how a girl looks like online? I think it boosts their ego knowing they got some chiobu talking to them on msn.

I was playing Cabal last time, and a girl posted her picture in the guild forum. And she did not exactly look like this:

An interesting read on how makeup can change a woman
The guys, oh did they insult and make fun of her. Personally she wasn't ugly at all. She just wasn't a supermodel, and the guys were not too kind.

Anyway that is why it is only up till now will I post up my picture! When I just started the blog, I put the link in my MSN personal message. I advertised it to some people. I knew half of those people visited my blog for pictures and NOT to read what I have to say. So as for you people, who are still reading from the conception of this blog till today. I'll show you how beautiful arab street alleyways can look like! Okay fine I photoshopped it a little bit.

ps. For some of you who don't get it, I am posting pictures now because:
- I have already filtered the shallow tards by not posting any pictures within the past few weeks/months.
- I believe the shallow tards have given up and stopped visiting.
- I believe that the people visiting my blog now, aren't just here for pictures but to read what I have to say.
- I want to show off this 60% off top I bought from Topshop Maternity.
(Just because you are not pregnant doesn't mean you can't wear something from the maternity section okayyyy)
- We look hot. (The day was very hot too.)
- Arab street looks pretty and photographable.
- We wanted to try post this on runwaycity.
- My photoshop skillz are leet.
