jaejoong is too perfect, it must be unreal.

From a magazine interview about their special first date.
When a girl finds something cute, she'll just go 'kyaa~~!' and have such a nice expression on her face. Because of that, rather than go shopping for myself, I'd rather go shopping for my girlfriend. It's not like I can do a total coordination for a girl, but I'll be able to tell her which ( Read more... )

Ah but DBSK had so much success after their first year, didn't they? SHINee's got the looks and talent too! I just wonder why...

Maybe just what you've said before, some Korean fans are like comparing them to DBSK and saying they're just "shadow" of DBSK. But I guess, when the time comes, they can prove the skeptical people wrong about them. Let's just wait.

A.Mi.Go, I find it a bit underrated. *shrugs*

JE is more humane when it comes to training and living arrangements. They're training is not as intense as SM but there had been some controversies about Kitigawa molesting his idols or trainess. Yeah, pedo much? :)) But for me, it's really the JE fans that Kitigawa is killing and torturing esp on our wallets. I think for a JE die-hard fangirl, this can be the list of merchandise she buys:

-4 JE Magazines (Myojo, Popolo, Duet and Potato) >>> this is every month, so it's like, 12 x 4= 48 mags per year.
-Other magazines that her fave group is in
-Singles and Albums
-Concert tickets (if she can afford going in Japan)
-Concert Merchandise (penlight, keychain, towel, clearfile and etc...)
-DVD's of the dramas or concerts.

That's how JE gets their profit. And most fangirls don't just have 1 group, they can have as many as 3. T_T And their merchandises are WAY more expensive than SM's. T_T Neverhteless, what's ironic is that most of their idols are not very talented and yet Kitigawa can shell out this huge amount of money from people. (I remember reading from a site that JE's net worth 2 years ago is like $60 billion)

Sorry for the long comment! X_X

No probs abt the long comment! Discussions are <3
Oh I remember a friend of mine who is a fan of Miyavi. Not JE but yeah still Japan music hahah. She complains about how expensive his stuff sells for. I always thought that DBSK stuff were expensive. I mean, $32 for an album compared to the usual $18 for American albums at HMV is expensive for me. Then when I heard MYV's stuff cost like 60-70 bucks for an album I'm like O_O
And Japanese are very anti-piracy right? If they'er a fan they will buy an album. Thats why their music industry flourishes so well I guess!

Oh yeah. I saw those DBSK cd's. When I first saw it, I was like, "omg, it's cheaper than what they have on JE" And mind you, HMV goods are cheaper compared to what YesAsia and CDJapan.

Yeah, I rarely hear of cd piracy in Japan and I guess because artists regularly release singles and stuff that's why it's really big and maybe that's the reason why Korean artists are venturing in J-Pop. I don't know, but what do you think? :D

Yeah I am so surprised at the number of singles DBSK has been releasing. I mean its like, so fast. Suddenly another single? 1 month 1 single?! LOL you don't really see that for the koreans! Many koreans are venturing into jpop, but Japanese never venture into kpop do they? D:
