An update on my life for the past month!
Well, most recently (Monday) I got my wisdom teeth out. Still in some pain, still eating nothing but mushed food and vicodin, but ok in general. Good thing I only got 2 out-when my sister had all 4 of hers out she looked like even more of a chipmunk! Last night I was feeling well enough to attend a holiday get together at my apartment. The usuals were in attendance, including Dorine, Nicole, Greg and his buds. Not to mention a couple of other lovely Thetas, random guys, and other random guests. Most people were intoxicated, but not I! Why does everyone think drinking alcohol with vicodin is a good idea? Maybe I'm just a dork who reads the labels on those medication bottles! Anyways, fun times were had =)
JEFF IS HOME FOR BREAK! I shall be seeing him today and many other days during winter break. I can't remember the last time I was so excited to see anyone. I also booked a plane ticket today to go visit him in Washington February 18th-21st, his birthday weekend, woo! I love that boy more than anyone.
Got through all my finals without too much stress. Found out I got a perfect score on my Death Penalty paper (thanks to my mom and Art for their comments on my rough drafts!) and an A in the class. I'll find out about Hate Crimes and Cybercrimes by the end of this week. Hopefully I'll be finding out about my potential Irvine PD job soon as well! My background investigator finished up my report and passed it on to the Lieutenant in charge of my file at Irvine PD. Crossing my fingers!
Headed to Vegas for New Year's with Ana and Dorine...along with tons of other Thetas and almost everyone else I know who is 21. Jeff and some mutual friends from HS will be there, along with I think at least half of the Greeks from UCI. Stayin' at the Flamingo and hoping not to get tooooooo crazy. God that drive is going to be a piece...
By the way, nothing is more refreshing than spending time with people who actually have plans and goals for their lives.
Lately, things are just awesome =)
Oh, and p.s. My fam and I (per usual holiday tradition) took Christmas card pictures and will be sending them out shortly! If I don't have your address and you wish to receive one, please comment or send me an e-mail @ amaddy@uci.edu. I love this time of year!
