According to my home scales, I've lost 7 lbs since my doctor's visit at the beginning of March. If I could lose 7 lbs a month until the wedding, I'd be thrilled. It's doubtful but I am working on it. I've got to start getting out in the early evening and walking - even when it turns hot. Hopefully, that will make me sweat more and perhaps drop a few more lbs.

I've been eating primarily fish and chicken and turkey- no red meat.
Publix had some nice flounder- got 2 pcs for around $3.50- enough for 2 meals. I bought a big pkg of turkey burgers. They are quite delish.
I am now 50 1/2 - can't keep putting off this weight loss. Like you said, reading ingredients is crucial. I gave away a bunch of frozen meals once I read the cholesterol content. It can be expensive to eat healthy. I try to look for healthy bargains.
