A grand day out

I managed to get off work on time today. Verily, this never happens the last week of the year. That my boss was away probably helped a lot with that! :D

Your lunch sounds SO good! I'm probably going to have some soup for dinner, since Corgiguy is not here and boy's been grazing in the kitchen all day.

I got some chorizo sausage, which I'm planning to cook up and simmer with some beans. I figure the sausage is spicy enough to give a little kick to the beans, AND it'll get a couple cans out of my pantry. Hearty and filling!

They had a few packs of chorizo marked with "Use or freeze by" when I was at WalMart a couple hours ago, so if you're headed that way, there might be some left.
