Is there anything that's more of a relief than getting something with a deadline to one's beta BEFORE the last minute?
Although I suppose "Done!" might be an over-statement. Usually I fiddle with fic for a while, but with everything else going on in December, I don't have the luxury of refining every phrase and nuance this time.
And there's still Yuletide to be conjured.
