Kitchen experiment

I had to stop by Winn-Dixie on the way home, since I was out of bread and low on eggs, and on impulse, since it was cheap, I picked up a pint of milk and some cornbread mix. Came home, mixed it up with some bacon crumbles and cheese, and now I've got breakfast for the rest of the week. Because of the time change, I've been going to work unfed and been made even grumpier by the rumbling of my stomach (in addition to what the callers are causing).

Tomorrow, I must dress to impress: the corporate higher-ups are bringing in a gaggle of potential clients to view us, their most successful office. There's been a frenzy of cleaning: boxes taken to storage after sitting in the same place for months, ceiling tiles that have been down for *years* have been replaced, and a crew came in and steam-cleaned our carpets. (Is this shit coming out of the budget our bonuses depend on?!) I'm thinking my beige dress, since it's too warm for either of my suits....

Note to self: Next time, asiago cheese instead of cheddar. Either that, or shredded cheddar stirred into the batter instead of little wedges in each cup. And more bacon, although that'll have to wait until I've done major shopping next week.
