Win some, lose some....
I didn't get the first job that became available, but I'm still in the running for the second one. (Which is the one I'd rather have, anyway. I don't think anyone else wants it.) I'm going to keep my fingers crossed, because they have to post it for two weeks in case anyone else anywhere in the company is interested.
My boss brought in her new schnauzer puppy--she got him from someone in one of the other offices, not locally--and he's absolutely adorable. He's going to be a silver, though at the moment, he's at the ragbag stage where there's white and brown and grey in his coat. He's got a shrill yip of a bark, and he's really awfully young to have been taken away from mommy, but Boss Lady gets to that office on a schedule, and her next visit is too long to wait. He reminds me of Macs as a puppy--that same sideways walk, like a drunken sailor. We're taking bets on how long before he's taken over the house (with three adult Cockers in residence!)--he's already taken her over!
Accomplished a couple pages on "It Takes One to Know One". I'll get that stinker completed yet!
