I LOVED getting the sneak-peak of this on my birthday and now I can go on the record and in the comments, saying how much I love it. And you'll be on the barstool in hell next to me for writing RPF. HEHEHEHEHEH. This is seriously hot and FEELS in character despite what we do or in this case don't know about the participants. If this is really your first hate!sex (and I think some of your other fics qualify) then you certainly have a talent for it that should be pursued.

Hi! I liked this.
It seems realistic and in character (I particularly loved JS) and you are right in pointing out that the timing of the inStyle issue and their break up was a bit suspicious, as if they had been putting it off for a while.

The last line was divinely inspired. I was writing longhand at work, and I knew the end was in sight---then the light bulb went off and I managed not to squee *too* loudly. It was Just Right.

The original prompt I had asked for Chase angst, but it wasn't happening. Then when the news broke that J & J had called aff the wedding, my antennae went up and the angstometer started to hum.

OMG - I feel really bad, but I loved this. For some reason Hugh/JMo is hot in a way House/Cameron isn't. Ditto JS/JMo, especially the hate!sex. And I loved the HL/RSL hints too. You've completely broken my brain. Great stuff :D

Thanks so much! I've never shipped House/Cam, but the thought of Hugh/JMo is, as you say, hot. I enjoyed writing hate!sex. Which was a first for me. Ditto RPF in general. Credit goes to karaokegal, whose HL/RSL RPF first showed me that RP isn't just vicarious MarySue-ism.
