Halfway, at least.
Tonight was commencement for the class of 2009. It was a long ceremony, lasting about two and a half hours officially, totaling up to about three and a half hours if you include the pre-ceremony stuff. The first thing I noticed when I got to the other graduates from the College of Engineering was that my tassel colour was wrong; instead of gold, which I had, it should've been orange. I felt a bit annoyed at that, but no biggie.
The ceremony itself was spectacular, especially the long-ass fireworks display at the end. After that my parents and I went to McAlister's Deli. Great place to eat, I highly recommend it.
Now it's storming outside. Thankfully the ceremony ended a mere hour or so before it started, so we got lucky, as it was beautifully overcast for most of the ceremony. Thanks to the clouds I didn't end up baking in the sun in my black cap and gown.
Pictures will come soon!
