Ack... I think the backlight to my laptop screen is dying/dead.

The screen keeps flashing for some reason, and whenever I turn up the brightness it flashes and turns off. The data is still on the screen (i.e. the computer still works), it's just that the screen isn't lit so it's impossible to see the data without a flashlight or some kind of lighting device.

Sigh... I'm an idiot. >.
