They were lying in the younger’s bed that night of the 29th of May. No one dares to speak. Just each other’s presence and the warmth coming from their clasped hands is more than enough. Nothing more and no one else.
Suddenly.
“Remember when you told me that you want me to tell the world how much I love you?”
“I just want you to tell the world that you love me. You don’t have to say other things.” he corrected.
“Is that so?” And the older could just hum his reply.
“Then… I love you.” He whispered softly yet full of endearment to the boy beside him.
“Huh?” with that, Chinen faced Ryutaro fully.
He faced the older too and smiled, “You said you wanted me to tell the world that I love you… And I just did.”
“But you just said it to me only…” Confusion is visible in the older’s face yet he’s smiling.
“Yes.” He leaned in and kisses him on the cheeks.
“Because YOU are the world for me.”
