Ryutaro and I were lying on a soccer field looking at the stars on a Tuesday night.
He held my hand. I turned to look at him and he gave me his own gentle smile. My heart flattered as I whisper his name in his ears soflty.
"Ryuu-chan."
"Hmmm?"
"Will you close your eyes?"
With a frown in his face, he instantly obeyed and closed his eyes.
"What can you see?" I asked him.
"Nothing."
"That's exactly my life would be without you."
He turned to me and opened his eyes with a smile plastered on his face which I quickly beat. Suddenly, I sit up and reached for my bag and got the heart-shaped box of chocolates and pass it to him.
"I bought that. You know I don't know how to cook and such. And I really had a hard time deciding if I should buy you or just let my sister help me to---" I was cut off as he kiss me fully on the lips.
"You really do know how to ruin moments. Happy Valentines, Chii."
"Happy Valentines, Ryuu-chan."
And he hugged me tight, never wanting to let go.

I was 6 when I first saw him. I was a guest since my mom asked me to go with her in the wedding. He was the ring bearer. The bride is my mom's best friend and the groom is his cousin. They said we look good together because we're really cute that time. He really looks like a girl and can pass being a flower girl.
After the ceremony, we were told to post for pictures. I was about to cry. It was hot and I'm 6 years old, who got bored easily, silly I know.
"The wedding is nice but I'm getting bored." I whined. "But I want to get married someday too." I mumbled to myself.
Someone tap me on my shoulders and gave me his handkerchief. "Don't cry. When I'm old enough, I'll marry you." He told me with a smile.
Right there and then I saw the warmest and sincerest smile ever in my life urging me to stop myself from crying.
I thanked him as I accept the hanky he allowed me to use. "I'm Ryutaro Morimoto." I said half sniffing and half smiling.
"Ryuu-chan then. Chinen Yuri." And he held out his hand.
I woke up from my dreams and saw him beside me.
Memories.
I caressed his face and look at his sleeping angelic face.
The boy in my dreams. The boy I married.
