ok ... uhm another possible long one, 2+ movie reviews and a personal update.
So, first movie review: The Descent
what kinda BULL SHNAT was THAT?! if you haven't seen it ... honestly I wouldn't bother. I mean yeah it was kinda freaky, it had me on edge cause you KNEW stupid Shnat was gonna go down ... it didn't help that my friend would randomly scream, making me and my other friend scream ... just for that reason. *sigh* uhm basically, it's like Final Destination, in that a woman, her husband and child went with some friends white water rafting (husband and daughter stood on shore). On the ride home, husband and child are killed, woman uh has to take meds otherwise she hilusinates ... her friends take her spelunking (or investigating a cave... ) where they get trapped and run into these human like creatures ... who are naturally hungry. uhm... the ending left me and my friend PISSED...
Movie review numba two: The Reaping.
first off ... my beau from Tyler Perry's "Daddy's Little Girls" Idris (something) is in this movie ...
personally ... I didn't like it. Suspence was rediculous, one REALLY confusing part, random but not pointless sex scene ... uh... whatever. originally I'd say it was an ok movie, but the ending's abrupt corniness just KILLED it. basically the 10 plagues of the bible hit Louisiana, and a past believer has to fix the problem. I mind you, the former believer is ordained, and she likes to prove miracles scientifically... the begining is interesting. uh my vote ... pffffft maybe 5 or 6 ... the graphics weren't even that good ... just look at the cow scene, for those who've seen it. wtf?!
last movie: Colors of the Cross
HA! uhm ok not comparable to the Passion of the Christ, but thats the best I can work with. basically .... it's the same story of the suffering and crusifixion of Jesus, but he's Black. uhm, it's interesting, Jesus seems more human in this movie, putting into effect the whole "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak" bit. you can see his emotion, unlike passion, where the dude playing Jesus was kinda ... chill the whole time. I'ma investigate this further, but in the mean time, I cant put a vote on this. I would recommend seeing it for two quotes: "Do you think it's because he's black?!" and "I am Jesus!""no, you're not black enough!" HA!@ (... "it's because I'm black isn't it" .... I cant say that anymore maan.)

A.) my suitemate LOVES leaving her keys at home... WTF?! she ALWAYS does it. so we're stuck leaving the door unlocked for her... my keys are always on me. period. SHNAT! I'm tempted to keep locking the door when I leave ... but she's supposed to have her keys back by tomorrow ... *might lock the door anyways*
B.) I'm SO failing Math and Chem right now, and next semester I'm taking not 1, not 2, but 3 science classes! Microbiology, Organic Chem (oh shhhh*t) and Physics (shoot me...). I was going to add animal science but it conflicts with my tues lab class. we'll see. uhm, I might be taking math over the summer at MC. if not math, then I might try physics, though I doubt it.
C.) Friday I'm coming home, but I dont think I can hang sept fri and sat night. I think I'm going to visit my new cousin in VA. just call me.
D.) uhm, the choir's no longer recording a CD, it's been pushed to next semester. still gotta concert on may 5th tho, so come out.
E.) you wanna know what REALLY yanks my chain?! people who NEVER call me (they might say hi when we pass) but call me randomly asking for a ride....
WTF?! folks, if/when you go to school away from home, and take your car, do NOT become a taxi cab driver! I'ma start REALLY hunkering down on people because it aint fair, and I dont give a flying rat's candied yams. You know you running low on water, call me ahead of time and ask me if I'm going out to the store any time soon!
Oh and Errogant people! I know a person, Honors freshman with a 4.0 .... I'm SO ready to slap him cause thats all he ever talks about. it's like he loves pushing my buttons and he knows thats what he's doing. so I'm gonna get on his case and tell him to stop.
Anywho, thats all .. for now since I need to go to class. I'll be writing more later about class test annnd blacksingles.com.
