First of all, a late HAPPY BIRTHDAY to nefarious_deeds!!!
Okay, so it's Carnival week and I had the week off from school, so I came home! although now Carnival is actually over, but we have the whole week off! =D
Things in São Paulo have been great, I kind of miss it there already! I didn't do much, really, just going to classes, looking for the appartment stuff with Maria...Ooh! There was this uni party and it has loads and loads of free beer! We had fun! The school has this percussion band thing, and everyone sings with it, kinda like for cheering at games and such, and there's one "chant" where they just go and throw beer in the air and all, so we got totally soaked! I got kinda drunk as well! lol When there's so much beer that people start throwing it in the air, you can imagine things will get a bit out of hand! lol
On the drive back I was like Maria's co-pilot, I had the map with me (yes, the city's so big you need a map) and I was supposed to point out where to go and such, but I was totally wasted! LOL! I was giddy and couldn't even make out the names on the map, and it was rush hour, 6-7pm-ish, so it was hysterical, we laughed so much, and we were completly lost! lol

I have no idea who most of those people are (but don't we all look happy and friendly? lol) I'm the one with red hair and black shirt, the girl next to me is Stefanie (from my class), there with the open mouth is Maria (my roommate), next to her is Renata (from my class too, one of the coolest chicks there), Vinicius, and the guy Renata's clutching is Felippe. Note how we're all soaked ! lol
I also went to the U2 concert that there was in SP! It was soo cool! It was beautiful, truly beautiful! Imagine a whole soccer stadium, absolutly PACKED and on the first notes of Elevation everyone starts doing the "ooooh ooooooh oooooh". It was an incredible energy! I wish I could narrate the concert bit by bit! Franz Ferdinand opened for them, and they played really well! They played a gig of their own in Rio, I wished I could have gone to that! But anyways...
Besides that, there have been a few parties here and there, but now I'm home, in Blumenau...
Last Saturday night was SUPPOSED to be one of the coolest nights ever in this town, a cool band was playing and we had plans to close down this bar just for 'us' you know, a large group of friends...But in the end none of that worked out and we just wondered the streets until like 5 am! lol
I slept over at Nika's, and the next day there was supposed to be a party there, but I didn't go...Then on Monday I went to the beach, went to the usual bar, where I met up with Maria and Jessica...The next day I actually went to the beach! instead of just hanging around town, I had a swim and layed there for a tan and everything. I actually got very sunburned. My skin is too white for that kind of sun exposure! lol
But I had forgotten how much I missed being by the ocean, and having that beautiful view every day...
Today I did nothing...Tomorrow I think I'm going out with that guy who took me for sushi...But we'll have to meet at 10pm because he has classes, we're going for drinks somewhere...At first he suggested grabbing a movie and going to his place, but yeah right, going to his house, at that time? It'd be better if he just said "let's go have sex" lol. but yeah, that's not gonna happen anytime soon, lol. But yeah, let's see how the 'date' goes.
