Am just reading Jade/Platina scripts in the yahoo mailing group. Have to admit Jade/Sapphirus SLIGHTLY intrigues me, but Jade/Platina all the way. Especially seeing the way Jade dies. SOB. Jade is just an awesome character. I LOVE his ending, and I oddly love his death scene too. And whoa, he was a sort of Icarus~~ could that help with the title?

But Icarus flew to the sun and was naive and rash... I think he's more like Platina, in that sense. Although I suppose Jade was a twat for going to look for God when he knew he would/could be banished XD;

Still, I am VERY hesitant to name a site after 'Icarus', when it's... NOT about Icarus. XD

Off the top of my head... some more starting points for brainstorming up a decent Petshop title. Hope they kind of help:

Caged Dreams, Caged Chimera, Caged Illusions, Fool's Paradise, Dream Merchant

Things that come to my mind when I think of the Petshop are tea and sweets, exotic mystery, binding contracts, beautiful and grotesque, customers without hope... In a sense, the shop reminds me of a money lender's business with a nasty twist to the guarantee and very sadistic debt collectors... all drenched in politeness, social niceties, and do you want milk and sugar and a slice of lemon? Or some cake? XD Remember that I haven't read the manga so I'm probably a bit off the mark. Anyway... (^_^);;

Fool's Paradise sounds really cool, actually ♥! For a few moments I actually wanted to include 'tea', or 'sweets', but then I'm not so sure XDXD;

How have you not read the manga, it's pure brilliance XDXD It's more of the themes you so accurately described! It's downloadable through free_manga, so if you want to read it for free, go there~ XD
