Rumor, it´s just a rumor until now ...

Only, I fear some fans might go for fried duckling if it turns out to be true. :P

But, from start: New pictures of next years "Kamen Rider Kiba" were followed by a rumored final main cast.

It´s said to be ... )

I read about this a day or two ago, but already forgot about it, because I DON'T WANT IT TO BE TRUE.

Setomaru needs to be doing more prime-time dramas, or movies, or plays (gaaaah I wish he'd do more plays), NOT SENTAI.

Of course, reading the comments those jerks are making about him (yeah, TeniMyu fans are harsh too, but -- this seems different, somehow......maybe just because it's Setomaru, I dunno), I almost halfway want him to be in it, just so he can shut them all up.

Because I know he'd be good -- he's good in everything. But I still just really don't want him to do this. He wouldn't have time for anything else -- he'd be stuck with this character and show for a year. Would he even have time for Oha anymore?

It wouldn't even be so bad if he wasn't the lead. I mean -- on one hand, it would be great for him to have his own popular show like that, just like it has been for Zukki and Araki, but.....to me, it seems like the kind of actor Setomaru has always wanted to be doesn't really star in sentai series.

*sigh* I dunno. I just....I don't want this to be true. But as always, I don't believe rumors -- especially sentai rumors, considering the whole thing about Nagayan and Gekiranger last year!

Yes, the rumor was just announced yesterday. And, I wanted to wait a little bit and collect more info, instead of rushing ahead. But the comment of one forum-member about that´s more and more likely made me not wanting to wait any longer.

The problem is that I always see Tokusatsu/Sentai series not as very acting-lasting. ^^° But, with Setomaru as leading actor, the director would have a change to show what´s possible to realize with a skilled and proven talent, even though it´s a very young one, so I would be really curious. Especially since it seems to be a darker and more demanding story than the usual plot.

Quote: "If this guy can pull off a tough-as-nails vampire Rider, he'd be the greatest actor of all time."

THAT´s what he can pull off and I want that he shows it, too! But, it´s going to be hard, with such a fan-dismissal, but he is strong and stubborn enough to get through it, if it had to be. Maa~, that´s something I really appreciate on japanese fans, they are way much more open and welcome in that matter, at least giving each actor a change. :( But most western fans are alway way too foredooming and mostly not even questioning their decisions afterwards anymore, to see if they were maybe wrong. *sighs*

*pats* Well, I´m sure that with his stunning capacity he showed this year, he is able to manage one steady weekly show and even some other regulair projects at the same time again. His OhaStar contract was just recently extended for one more year and I don´t think they would have done it, if he wouldn´t be able to handle it, would they? And, I can´t see him working on only one single project for such a long time, he is way too restless for this. So, beside D-Stage 2 next year, I´m sure he is aiming for more new challenges. As long as it´s not affecting his multifaceteness I think it´s going to be alright, wouldn´t it?

We only can wait and see, what´s going to be true. But, I think that he is the kind of actor who makes a show, not that a show is making him. ;3 So, I´m not too worried of the outcome, because how you said, he is going to be amazing in everything he does! v^_^v

*hugs*
