Wrestlers, robots and cartoons. Oh my!

WRESTLING
I watched Wrestlemania on Monday, albeit in fast forward at White-trash's place.
There was a lot of bore fest stuff that dragged the nearly 4 hour payper-view out but there were some definite highlights.
Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero put on a fine display as did Understaker and Randy Orton but the absolute stand out was the match between Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle, it's a wonder they didn't put out witches hats considering they put on an absolute clinic in wrestling, story telling and ring psychology, which many of the guys in the back room should have watched so they could learn from two greats of the industry.
A bonus of the broadcast was seeing the inductees to the hall of fame, this year Niocoli Volkoff, the Iron Shiek, Jimmy Hart, Cowboy Bob Orton, Mr Wonderful Paul Orndorf, the icon of Professional wrestling Hulk Hogan and one of my all time faves, Rowdy Roddy Piper.
It was very rewarding to see these guys recognised for there efforts and I am man enough to admit that I was quite emotional watching the clip montage they had put together showing the guys in there hey day.

ROBOTS
I have been working on a comedy festival show with some mates called the Super Happy Robot Hour, it is a redo of a show we put on for the Melbourne fringe festival last year.
This years show is bigger, better and a whole lot more funny.  we are very proud of what we have achieved and would love to see what other people think.
If you are in Melbourne for the next 2 weeks, shoot yourself along to the Trades hall and catch an eye full of Robot love with Optimus Prime, a Dalek, Astroboy, R2D2 and some special guests as they try and make you laugh for an hour, I think you will appreciate it.

CARTOONS
I got home from work yesterday to find that Sally (the pretty one in my relationship) had bought me the Incredibles DVD.
After doing my "I've got a new DVD dance" I rushed off to help with the robot show, but when I got home I had to shove it in the machine and watch Jack Jack's adventure, a new feature on the DVD the tells you what happens to the babysitter while the rest of the family were out fighting Syndrome.
I was definitely worth watching and I just know I will be watching the 5 minute short again and again.
I bought the M.I.B.2 DVD just for the Chub Chubs animated short on that but unlike M.I.B.2 I actually like the Incredibles movie, actually, I love the Incredibles movie.
I am a huge animation fan and I love all of Pixars work, but i am an even bigger comics fan, and when I heard that Pixar were making a animated super hero film I made a puddle where I was sitting (in a good way), the fact that it was being directed by the guy who directed the Iron Giant just made the puddle bigger as I absolutely adore the Iron Giant and I am man enough to admit it makes me blubber every time I see it.
Another great extra I have seen so far (I am sure there are more but I hav'nt gone searching too much yet) is a cartoon featuring the Adventures of Mr Incredible which is a cheaply done 1960's style show in the vain of Clutch Cargo with still backgrounds and real actors lips talking.  It is very tacky and perfectly executed, as if that wasn't enough there is another version of the Adventures of Mister Incredible complete with commentary from the real Mr Incredible and Frozone which is absolutely hilarious.  Samual L Jackson proves once again that he is the man and it's a shame he doesn't get enough chances to do comedy.

Thats enough for me today.
Go and pat a puppy, it's free.
