Day 1 // Your Favorite Song

This song literally took my breath away when I first heard it. I heard it when I was... I believe 13-14. Before then I listened to really, really bad music. Anything that wasn't on mainstream radio was horrible to me. I used to be really into the fandom/show Degrassi, and someone made a video to this song. Instantly I was captured. I finally listened to it without a music video... and it's the most beautiful song I've ever heard, and it still is. It has been my favorite song ever since that day. This is when I started getting into better music. ;)

This is another song that I got into thanks to Degrassi. This is one of those songs that when I listen to it, I feel like I'm getting away from any problems or worries I had. Is that lame? Whatever. The lyrics are beautiful, but it's the instrumentals that captured me. Rarely does a song do that.
Imagine by John Lennon

I realize this is probably the most cliche favorite song ever, but I don't care. For any music fan, it's almost like it's pre-programmed into you to love or at the very least like Imagine. It's been one of my favorite songs for quite sometime, which is why it's here. The message is true and the world is still struggling with the fact that we're so divided because of little things. It's just an amazing song.
