http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/01/08/microsoft.ballmer/index.html?iref=mpstoryview Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer kicked off the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show on Wednesday with an impassioned endorsement of PCs and a sneak peek at the company’s future Windows 7 operating system.
I wonder how they came upon the name itself. “Windows 7.” My first IBM-clone that ran windows as the operating system was Win3.11. Since then there was Win95, Win98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and then Windows Vista. So wouldn’t it stand to reason that this OS should be named “Windows 10?”
I’m leery. I mean the operating system hasn’t even been officially released yet and it’s already having critical calculation errors!
