This was taken from spindr

1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Quit my job and didn’t get another job right away. I have been taking a break for three months.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t keep my resolutions because some stuff got in the way, but once that was gone I did get back to working out, which was one of the resolutions. I always make resolutions.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, today to be exact. Hey, it still fits in 2007 and she gets the kid tax break. I can’t wait to see him and huggle him.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No thank goodness.

5. What countries did you visit?
Um, I live in the United States and I stayed in the United States, so this question officially stinks, as it makes me feel I should have traveled more.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Health.

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
July 21, 2007 BECAUSE I GOT MARRIED TO MY MR. DARCY (THE LOVE OF MY LIFE)!!!!!!!!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Overcoming the ovarian cancer that attempted to ruin my year, so basically, kicking cancer’s ass!!!

9. What was your biggest failure?
In order to start over and anew we are not supposed to dwell on our failures. I am not perfect by any means, but any failures I can think of are ones that I do not need to think of or I will not get past them. So screw this question.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes, ovarian cancer, which consisted of three surgeries at the beginning of the year and culminated in a hysterectomy.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Tickets, hotel, reservations, trip to Hawaii for our honeymoon!!! Hands down that is the best. Included in that is our Dolphin Quest encounter!!!!

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My fiancé/husband, my mother, my mother-in-law.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
The company I worked for and left. The manager I was under at said company as he would not be happy if his daughters were treated the way I had been treated right before my departure. Yes, I do hope the karma bus hits them in the arse.

14. Where did most of your money go?
The wedding and the honeymoon.

15. What events did you get really, really, really excited about?
The wedding and the honeymoon.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Party like a Rockstar by Shop Boyz.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
Thinner or fatter? Part of me wants to say the same, but another part believes thinner, and I’m sure only the scale knows. I did have bits of my organs taken out this year so that counts for some weight lose in my book.
Richer or poorer? I believe it is the same…in the since of what I have in friends, family, etc…then richer.
Happier or sadder? Happier!!! Even with the way this year began I can say that I am happier. I am MARRIED after all and I wasn’t this time last year.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Dreaming, and listening to those dreams, instead of staying in the hustle and bustle of life that keeps us from dreaming. Yes, we have to grow up and become adults, but dreaming is what keeps us living. Being a droid to society drains us of ourselves. Also, I wish I had done more reading, and I can blame the above on that too.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Definitely less of being in the hospital and having fewer surgeries.

20. How did you spend Christmas?
I spent Christmas with family as always.

21. Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
My mom. I email most everyone else, even though we should talk on the phone more, and I see my hubby all the time.

22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
I fall in love with my husband all the time….so yes.

23. How many one-night stands?
None. I’ve been engaged and then married this year. Plus, would I share that with you anyway?

24. What was your favourite TV programme?
Damages, Dancing with the Stars, Grey’s Anatomy, and Private Practice. I was tons of drivel throughout a year for me to really remember all of it. Unfortunately, shows change all the time so it isn’t always the same. Some of the best shows are no longer on TV, but in my DVD cabinet.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
The ex-company.

26. What was the best book you read?
Tale of the Body Thief….there was too much going on all the other times for me to get other reading done so that is about the only book I read this year. Sad I know.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery or rediscovery?
Josh Groban’s Christmas CD…I love Josh Groban. Bon Jovi would be the rediscovery since I caught them unplugged on VH1.

28. What did you want and get?
My very own laptop. My husband loves me and spoils me.

29. What did you want and not get?
A puppy…I always wanted a puppy and I will have one someday.

30. What were your favorite films of this year?
Bridge to Terabithia, 300, Meet the Robinsons, Knocked Up, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, The Bourne Ultimatum, Shoot ‘em Up, Hitman, I Am Legend.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Had dinner with friends and family…and I was that is all you need to know.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
My year would have been more satisfying without the health issues at the beginning of the year. It would have allowed me to totally relax and concentrate on the upcoming wedding, to go on my honeymoon immediately following my wedding, and would have just allowed for a more carefree year.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Comfy and glam.

34. What kept you sane?
My husband, my family, and my friends kept me sane.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Brad Pitt, Clive Owen, Angelina Jolie (she always catches my fancy)…as for the guys it most of the time depends on movies I watch etc. I do love some Brad Pitt though.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The presidential election of 2008.

37. Whom did you miss?
Dr. J, my friends from college that were able to make it to the wedding I just wish I had more time to spend with them.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
All my new friends that I met online who are real life friends now.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:
I learned that stubbornness can be good for something and I learned that I’m more of a tough cookie than I thought. I also learned that those who love you the most will be there to keep you strong when times are hard.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
“Let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder. Don’t you know the hardest part is over!!
Let it in; let your clarity define you in the end. We will only just remember how it feels.
Our lives are made in these small hours; these little wonders, these twists & turns of fate. Time falls away, but these small hours, these small hours still remain”

Little Wonders by Rob Thomas from Meet the Robinson’s soundtrack
