ya so as a freshman Cross country runner, the coaches usually assume that you come into the program somewhat like this:
which is usually right.
So they start smashing us with workouts in the hopes of making us do this:
the workouts usually result in us having to take on of these:
which feels really good until your BALLS hit the ice water. ("I was getting ice...")
so then before the meets we get real fired up like this:
and we race and sometimes this happens:
but once the race is over we feel like:
but for some reason we keep doing it so that after 4 years we can be like this:
done.
