Been a while
It's been over a week since I've written anything here.
I've been busy at work, doing a project they want me to hand back tomorrow. I'm almost done, so I'll be able to meet the deadline.
My husband and I started going to counseling last week. I think it went pretty good. My husband talked the majority of the time. But that's how he usually is anyway. Everything has to be about him, he always wants all the attention and pity. I was barely able to mention the issues I face.
He did admit he doesn't have a clue of what he's doing as a parent and will often loose control because of his temper. We talked a lot about our daughter, and how it affects us in our marriage because we never seem to be on the same page.
He talked about his past drug addiction and his alcohol problem. We talked about his bipolar disorder and how unsafely it makes me feel at times, specially with his bad, bad temper.
Anyway, we're going for our second session tonight. The counselor wants to see and chat with our daughter too. We'll see.
On another note, our anniversary was this past Tuesday. We didn't do anything special. I had a few margaritas, and he had a couple of beers. We stayed home and watched movies. Very boring, but relaxing enough.
