I was heading to Margaret Jenkins Elementary School (where I went to school when I was a child) for a reason I could not recall. I had even called ahead to clear it with the office secretary.
It was going to rain, and I took note of awnings that I could use to avoid getting wet.
Margaret Jenkins School was part of a large cubic building, very brick-style architecture. There was an irish or european pub attached, with a staircase leading to a 2nd floor. I noted that I could go there if my errand at the school went bust. It was akin to the library/government building in downtown Victoria.
I headed inside and was lost in brown bricked corridors, much akin to the student centre at UVic. While wandering I headed under a staircase, and coming out of the shadow I was face to face with one of the school staff. She sternly told me it is illegal for me to be there (implication: adult in elementary school campus). I explained I had called ahead, and she would know this if she headed to the office and checked. I also remarked that it was unclear to me which parts of the building were illegal for me to be in, and which were not.
She angrily headed up an escalator. I waited for an indeterminate amount of time, slowly realizing that despite the paperwork that I had brought with me, I had no idea why I was there. The second librarian who replaced the first one while I was at MJ came down the escalator, noticing me. We each nodded and smiled in recognition as he walked past. I began to come to the conclusion that I had been ignored, and just before I decided to head up the escalator myself, a cast reunion of aged Star Trek TNG actors came down. Suddenly there were press behind me, a white-haired Jonathan Frakes coming down the escalator, and an elderly Mirana Sirtis was heading around and greeting onlookers as a long-haired and further-aged Patrick Stewart crested the escalator.
I then woke up in my mother's bedroom, which I believe was now my own in context. I had either passed out at that event, or it had been a dream in the context of the continuing dream. I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed. There was briefly a strange red wet spot on my stomach, but when I felt it, it had simply become sweat. I then actually woke up.
