New Painting
I know in some abstract way that other families don't spend Friday night playing Clue while listening to "The Wall" played loud enough to make us scream our guesses, but really, I'd hate to live in that sort of family.
I've mentioned I've been working, so here's some photos of my new painting.
The best photo I've taken showing the whole thing. It's a pretty large canvas as you can see. It's sitting on my porch if you were wondering what all that stuff in the background was.
Close up of islands on the left.
And the right. They're what require the most detail work still.
I'm doing it in oil with acrylic details. Most of the splatter is in acrylic, so it dries fast and I can do oil glazes of color over that to make the sky. I'm having fun with it.
In other news, Venture Brothers continues to be more awesome than I'm equipped to handle. The same is true of Hot Fuzz.
