Math and Huffing Chemicals
Having terrible time concentrating and finishing my work in one sitting. This could be blamed on my depression or, alternately, on the damn marker fumes making me dizzy so I wander off to find snacks every half hour or so. Prismacolors are so shiny and fun and I should really look in more thoroughly ventilating my work area.
As to TV: Numb3rs. Damn you people, why did none of you tell me about the sexy, sexy maths? I was flipping through the channels and I was like, "Look! It's sister's emo boyfriend!" And I watched. And he was doing maths with variables and matrices and squiggly graphs and he was endearingly Jewish and his sidekick was an Indian girl who was exactly like the billion and one Indian kids you meet at math competitions and there was a snarky older professor who like, did calculations for his clothing and was neurotic and all that was missing was a tiny Chinese genius boy and wow. Math team flashback like whoa.
This week episode was about black market kidneys. And there was the FBI and door kicking in and I am terribly in love. Also: Maths. Sexy, sexy maths.
Speaking oh my utter lame ass tastes in television: SG-1 song vid to "We Didn't Start the Fire" Yes, that song. By Billy Joel. One billion pieces of love. Daniel's little schizophrenic (How can I spell schizophrenic but not television off the top of my head? There's something terribly wrong with me.) but not angst to "Catcher in the Rye" is the best thing ever really. Also: A great abundance of shots of the team standing around looking confused versus a tiny amount of them actually doing something. And Daniel dies a lot. Joy.
Am also so horribly behind on life drawing assignment it's not even funny. Keeps ignoring it in favor of drawing intricate mad scientist labs with like, tentacle monsters in jars and shit. Art school is quite fun really.
Someday, I will organize my entries into some sort of logical pattern. Alas, today is not that day.
