my t shirt
The URHA gave all the presidents and dorm representatives a tshirt to wear today. It is blue with thr URHA logo in the upper right hand corner on the front and on the back there is an American Flag with "We Remember" written underneath. When I got it, I was pretty sure that I didn't want to wear it. Don't get me wrong guys, I am a HUGE fan of free t-shirts. Its not that I don't like America; its not that I don't think that there are people out there that have suffered an unparalleled amount of pain; its not any of these things. Its just that, I hate having a "political" t shirt. I don't want my shirt to say anything other than the brand name of the company that hired the 4 year old Filipino child that stitched it together for less than 5 cents a month (har har). Anyways, I felt odd wearing a "statement" on my back. In fact I consciously tried to have my backpack cover the back wherever I walked today when I was on campus. When I got back from my last class I switched shirts and felt as though that I finally had(IRONY ALERT)
