You know the one thing that i hate about shopping alone? Its when you're unsure of whether this piece of clothing or this pair of shoes actually looks good on you. And it sucks even more when the sales girl either has this "piss off" face or she don't look like the kind whose taste you can actually trust. Besides, ever since uni is just a 20 mins walk away, i hardly ever take the extra effort to go shopping in the city, hence a very very deprived girl.
That's when i turn my attention to online shopping! But the thing about online shopping is you can never be sure about the sizes and colors and i get annoyed whenever the description does not fit the original good. THEREFORE, a couple of my friends came up with this brillant idea of a lifestyle blog, http://closetoverload.wordpress.com/. It just started but they are gonna focus their entries on the latest fashion, trends, cafes and basically how to live stylishly in Brisbane. Its like a online localised magazine without the celebrity gossips and the "How to improve your sex life or Is he normal down there" (yeah i'm referring to the Sex talks in Cosmo and Cleo which i sometimes see my guy housemate reading. LOL but that's beside the point). The online fashion store part of the website is not up yet, but trust me, these friends of mine do know how to dress up without looking like a christmas tree. So when the ball gets rolling and they start selling those cool fashion pieces, be sure to show them your support!
Anyway, i think its a really cool idea to consolidate everything you need to know about life in brisbane into one website. Lynn and wenminn, this website is gonna be helpful for you guys next sem so do check it out ok! Oh and i'm featured in Mimi's first entry, so everybody else go read!
