Hunger Games and little rl update.
So, I spent Sunday-Wednesday in my bed last week. I was coughing so much and it hurt... in short, it sucked. I wrote one fanfic though! A Klaine fic.
So, I've been lazing around most of the week, then got to go to school on Thursday and Friday and I have 4 schooldays this next week. On Friday I'll skip school as I'll be flying to my dads. I can't wait to go.
Yesterday I went to see The Hunger Games at the movies. More on it farther down this post, but I LOVED IT. IT'S amazing and so canon. I went with 5 of my friends in celebration to two of their birthdays. S and G both had a birthday last week. Then we all went back to G's house and ate pizza and talked 'til all the parents picking us up didn't want to wake up any longer. .... :D And two of us kind of kept falling asleep....
Now here comes spoilers to the Hunger Games movie and book 1 (and some for book2)
I loved how close to canon they stayed. The changes were only (mostly) those that were needed. I didn't like that they didn't show the force field on the roof, because it's important to book 2 details. I mean, it wouldn't have made the scene on the roof any longer than it was. It would've also showed how they're potentially suicidal before the games.
My friends and I also agreed that there was a SLIGHT lack for clarity in the whole Peeta/Katniss charade in the end. I mean, sure, there's the notes from Haymitch, but it doesn't clearly state how confused Katniss is, and how much she's faking the whole thing.
I LOVED IT THOUGH AND RECCOMEND SEE IT NOW!
