i'm alive!
after a ridiculous bout of the flu during reading week, finals, a 28-hour bus ride to montana, losing my wallet but having some random guy find it, and a week of skiing and debauchery in big sky, i'm back in the 503. i made it all in one piece, too!
i'm excited to be home for break, especially because i realize it'll be the last time i'm home for a loooong time. i'll remind myself of that when LO gets boring. which will happen real soon i'm thinking, especially because my 5-day thanksgiving was more than enough time back here. but i truly love oregon, so i'm going to do every oregonish thing i can while i'm here.
i want more of my girlfriends to be home. pretty much all the boys are home (we're having rootapalooza 3 tonight, spare me), but i want mere and torrey and sarah to be here.
oh yeah, and it's official: i worked the hardest ever fall quarter, but i got the worst GPA ever. OH WELL! my cumulative is still kind of okay, so winter i'll just have to be even more squirrely than fall. oh, grades. what can ya do?!?!
ski trip was super fun, by the way. i forgot my camera cord at school, though, so y'all will have to wait for the sweet action shots. (and by action shots, i mean not at all. i'm pretty bad at skiing. but it was still amazing.)
off to be more domestic. i made a big pot of minestrone and parmesean popovers for lunch, and cookies in the afternoon, and now i'll make some din. this is what happens when vanessa is finally able to watch lots of food network...
