Erin just got engaged.
A friend of mine, for many years (a lot of years if you really sit back and think about it)
So i'm in the romantic mood. Well, honestly, living with a man I am MADLY in love with makes me in a romantic mood all the time - but especially now.
Here's what I've learned about love, since I've been in love (does that make any sense? if not, that's another thing I've realized about being in love - you don't always make sense)
- The rest of the world really doesn't exist when he's around.
- Even when he's not around sometimes the rest of the world doesn't exist.
- When you're in this state of "the rest of the world not existing" you should not engage in any type of important task that involves a lot of deep concentration.
- Learning his different tones takes time - being in love doesn't mean I automatically know everything he's thinking or implying, because a lot of times I'm totally wrong.
- No matter how stormy the day, just being in his arms makes a rainbow apear...even if it can't make the sun come out completely.
- Even when you think you can't give up something you REALLY want for the one you love, just try it, it's not as hard as it seems, and in the end, the smile on their face makes it all worht it.
- When you realize that you are his and he is yours - all yours - forever - until you're both old and wrinkley... just stop and think on that for about a minute...best feeling in the world.
- Inside jokes are fun in general...but when they are with him...no comparisson
